WHY YOU SHOULD FUND

Every night, over 65 million Indian families use kerosene/candles for lighting.  The government has already banned kerosene usage in most parts of the country but in the absence of reliable resources, villagers are forced to buy kerosene from the black market at 3 times the actual cost.

Every year over 20 million people die (most of them under the age of 14 years) due to spillage/accidents caused by kerosene or nausea/chronic diseases/respiratory malfunctions all caused due to inhaling the dangerous kerosene black smoke  A rural child is left with no option but to skip studies at nights as there is no reliable lighting in his home.

i-Solarlite helps to eradicate the root cause of such diseases and helps children to study at nights by providing them with good quality solar lamps at affordable pricing.  Our customers have reported their monthly income to have increased twice-fold as now they saved money by not buying kerosene from black merchants.  Working members are also able to work in the dark hours under our solar lamps and further help their family financially.

How will the money be used?

  • Raw Material – 45% = 1350000
  • Infra & Logistics – 15% = 450000
  • R&D – 10% = 300000
  • Staff & Overhead – 20% = 600000
