Due to its proximity to our college, some friends and I were planning to visit Kashmir during weekend when this news broke that Kashmir has been hit by the most devastatingly cruel flood of all time. Over 250 people are declared dead, and hundreds of thousands have lost everything they owned.
It was shocking and left me disturbed with a feeling that I could have been one of them. I cannot help all of them. But together we can help a few.
Our help is much needed by tens of thousands of people, and we simply cannot remain on the side lines. Please, help draw a smile on the faces of people who lost everything.
